Midlife for many women is a time of change, and hopefully, growth. In honor of Adopt a Cat month, I wanted to note that my cat Veronica has been with me in my transformations. Yes, plural. Why stop at one?

For men this time used to be known as the mid-life crisis. They’d get a mistress or a divorce or start going to the gym or buy a cool car (which was the option my dad chose.)
